Technical description
PCB UNCONFIGURED OR FAULTY
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's main control board has lost its unique identity settings or has suffered an electrical memory failure. It essentially means the computer inside the unit no longer knows how to operate the specific components of your boiler and has shut down for safety. Most often, this is caused by a power surge or an internal hardware defect that prevents the board from reading its own configuration data.
Engineer required
This is a high severity fault. Stop using the boiler and call a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
