What causes this fault?

This fault occurs when the boiler's internal computer experiences a temporary communication error or a minor interruption during its startup sequence. It is essentially a software freeze where the control board loses its place and requires a manual restart to sync its components back together. In most cases, there is no mechanical failure or broken part behind this specific code.

DIY fix possible

Locate the reset button on the control panel.Press and hold the button until the letter 'r' appears on the display.Release the button and wait for the boiler to restart its firing sequence.
