What causes this fault?
This is not actually a fault, but a status indicator showing that your boiler is successfully receiving electricity from the mains supply. It means the internal circuitry is live and the unit is technically ready to provide heating or hot water when called upon. If the light is on but your heating isn't working, the issue likely lies with your thermostat settings or an internal component failure rather than an electrical supply problem.
