Fan or Fan Wiring Fault

What causes this fault?

This fault occurs when the boiler's control board detects that the internal fan is either failing to start or is spinning at an incorrect speed. The most common reason is a mechanical failure within the fan motor or a communication breakdown between the electronic control board and the fan's wiring.

Engineer required

This is a high severity fault. Stop using the boiler and call a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
