Technical description
Internal fault (PCB)
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's main control board suffers an internal hardware failure, meaning it can no longer safely manage the heating process. It is typically caused by natural wear and tear of electrical components or a sudden power surge that damages the delicate circuitry. Because the 'brain' of the boiler is compromised, the system shuts down as a safety precaution.
Engineer required
This is a high severity fault. Stop using the boiler and call a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
