Technical description
Error in gas line cycle – possible gas valve component error.
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's internal computer detects an inconsistency or failure in the electrical communication with the gas valve. The most common reason is that the valve can no longer open or close accurately to regulate fuel flow, or the main circuit board is unable to send the correct signals to it. To prevent an unsafe combustion situation, the system automatically shuts itself down.
Engineer required
This is a high severity fault. Stop using the boiler and call a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
