Technical description
Burner Injector – Propane Stereomatic, Type 7, 2.78mm dia.
What causes this fault?
This fault happens when the boiler identifies that the internal components used to burn gas do not match the specific type of fuel being supplied to your home. It typically occurs if the wrong parts were installed during a repair or if the settings were incorrectly adjusted, preventing the unit from creating a safe and efficient flame. The boiler shuts down as a safety precaution because using the wrong injectors can cause the burner to overheat or flicker dangerously.
Engineer required
This is a high severity fault. Stop using the boiler and call a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
