What causes this fault?

This fault occurs when the boiler's control system attempts to start the fan but detects no movement or rotation. The most common reason is that the fan motor has burnt out or become physically seized, though it can also be caused by the main circuit board failing to send the necessary electrical signal to the motor.

Engineer required

This is a high severity fault. Stop using the boiler and call a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
