Unable to save parameter settings: BUS device is configured but not available at present.

What causes this fault?

This fault occurs when the boiler's main control board loses its digital connection with internal components or external thermostats. It is typically caused by a loose wiring connection, a malfunctioning plug-in radio frequency receiver, or a failing memory chip on the central circuit board. Essentially, the boiler has become 'confused' because it is looking for a device that is no longer responding to its signals.

Engineer required

This is a high severity fault. Stop using the boiler and call a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
