Technical description
Code plug not detected.
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler’s main control board can no longer communicate with a small physical chip that stores its identity and operating instructions. The most common reason is that this component has worked itself loose over time or its electrical internal memory has failed. In some cases, a fault within the main circuit board itself prevents it from reading the data provided by the plug.
Engineer required
This is a high severity fault. Stop using the boiler and call a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
