What the manual says
Manufacturer manual–
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's central brain, the main control board, experiences an internal electronics failure or loses the ability to talk to its sensors. The most common reason is a hardware malfunction within the PCB itself or a loose connection in the internal wiring harness that prevents data from flowing correctly.
Engineer required
This is a high severity fault. Stop using the boiler and call a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
Avoid the next call-out bill
A cover plan would handle faults like F66: no call-out fees, no surprise bills.
