Reset error
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's safety system detects too many manual reset attempts in a short period of time, usually following a different primary ignition failure. It physically prevents the boiler from firing up to protect the internal components from potential damage caused by repeated failed starts. The root cause is typically a secondary issue like a worn ignition electrode or a faulty gas valve that triggered the initial lockouts.

This is a high severity fault. Stop using the boiler and call a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
