Technical description
Printed circuit board (PCB) fault
What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's main control board suffers an internal hardware failure or a memory error, meaning it can no longer process instructions. The most common reasons for this are electrical surges, general component wear over time, or moisture getting onto the circuitry.
Engineer required
This is a high severity fault. Stop using the boiler and call a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
