What causes this fault?
This fault occurs when the boiler's main control board loses its digital connection with another internal component, such as the display screen or a sensor module. The most common reason is a loose or damaged wiring connection between these parts, or a physical failure inside the main electronic circuit board itself.
Engineer required
This is a high severity fault. Stop using the boiler and call a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not attempt gas-related repairs yourself.
